Answer
In the Production Scheduling application, a shift refers to the times during a day when work is done at your site. For example, you may have established the following types of work shifts at your facility:
- Morning shift (6AM to 2PM)
- Afternoon shift (2PM to 10PM)
- Night shift (10PM to 6AM)
- Shift 1 (8AM to 4PM)
- Shift 2 (4PM 12AM)
- Shift 3 (12Am to 8AM)
Before you can start using Production Scheduling to create your production schedule, you will need to set up shifts. To learn how to set up a shift, please read the HelpDesk article called “How do I set up a shift in Production Scheduling?”
