In the Production Scheduling application, a shift refers to the times during a day when work is done at your site. For example, you may have established the following types of work shifts at your facility:

• Morning shift (6AM to 2PM)
• Afternoon shift (2PM to 10PM)
• Night shift (10PM to 6AM)
• Shift 1 (8AM to 4PM)
• Shift 2 (4PM 12AM)
• Shift 3 (12Am to 8AM)
