In the Production Scheduling application, a line refers to locations where production is being completed at your facility. For example, you may produce chocolates on Production Line 1.
Before you can start using Production Scheduling to create your production schedule, you will need to set up lines. You can set up line to represent the following:
- An area in your facility that has a collection of machines that are used for production
- A physical location where workers stand to complete production work (i.e. production lines)
