Answer
When using the search bar to find specific Work Orders, please know that the Production Scheduling application will search for information that has been entered in the following Work Order fields:
- Customer
- Item Code
- Item Description
- Work Order Code
- Work Order Description
- Notes
- Work Order Status
- Custom Work Order Field
For example, if you enter the keyword “Chocolate” in the search bar, the Production Scheduling application will display all Work Orders that contain the word “Chocolate” in the above fields. This could mean receiving all Work Orders where the word “Chocolate” has been entered in the following Work Order fields:
- Item Code
- Item Description
- Work Order Code
- Work Order Description
- Notes
If you want to have a more refined search result, please use the search filter in combination with the search bar. To learn more about the differences between the search filter and search bar, please read the HelpDesk article called “What's the difference between the two search bars at the top of the Sidebar?”
