Answer
It is best to schedule remaining units on a work order by dragging the work order card from the list of work orders and dropping it on a specific area of the schedule. This action will create a work block on the scheduling, indicating when production will be started (i.e. shift) and where it will take place in your facility (i.e. line). Using the dragging method to schedule remaining units on a work order, Production Scheduling will automatically calculate the amount of time required to finish producing the remaining units.
When all production units on a work order have been scheduled, Production Scheduling will automatically update the work order’s scheduling status to “Scheduled.” Also, the other scheduled work blocks that belong to the same work order will change colours from light blue to dark blue.
